On a recent weekend trip to the lake district to visit alex and caroline we had a lovely sunday afternoon walk with the dogs.

minka

a short film about architecture, place, friendship, life and memory. Davina Pardo's 'Minka' which translates to 'house of the people' follows the finding, deconstruction and re-assembling of this breathtaking traditional japanese farmhouse and the people who inhabited it for many years. if you watch one video today make sure it's this one.

a drive with mairi

a scenic drive with my beautiful wife to be mairi burrow to find our perfect wedding venue.  starting out from dundee we made our way into the heart of the trossachs through the sometimes bleak and harsh scottish weather. 

and yes we found it!
